Job summary

FMG is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer in Granada, Spain, to drive operational excellence and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on optimizing processes, developing a Lean culture, and delivering sustainable efficiency, quality, safety and cost improvements.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing or OPEX roles, with strong knowledge of Lean tools and data-driven process analysis.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field (Industrial Engineering / related).
• 2–5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, VSM, SMED, Kanban, Standardized Work.
• Advanced MS Office, ERP systems, and process analysis tools.
• Fluent English is essential in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen workshops and cross-functional improvement projects.
• Analyze processes, identify inefficiencies and map value streams (VSM).
• Implement Lean tools such as 5S, SMED, Standardized Work, Visual Management and Kanban.
• Analyze operational KPIs, identify bottlenecks and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Standardize processes and ensure sustainability of improvements.
• Train and support teams in Lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques (PDCA, A3, 8D).
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, HSE and HR.

We are looking to hire an Lean Manufacturing Engineer, a strategic role focused on driving operational excellence across the organization by leading continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and developing a Lean culture, while ensuring sustainable improvements in efficiency, quality, safety and cost.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen workshops and cross-functional continuous improvement projects.

• Implement Lean tools such as 5S, SMED, Standardized Work, Visual Management and Kanban.

• Standardize processes and ensure the sustainability of implemented improvements.

Education:

Experience:

• Industrial processes and performance indicator analysis.
• Advanced MS Office skills, ERP systems and process analysis tools.

Languages:
