Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer for the ESP Huesca - Fraga site. You will drive continuous improvement, support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and help optimize quality, delivery and cost while improving safety.

Working with the Plant OPEX Manager, you will lead problem solving, develop CI projects across SQDC, and coach teams in BD Excellence methodologies to sustain multi-year cost to win gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma;Green/Black belt preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
• Proven track record in project or program management.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the Focused Improvement component team.
• Develop and grow problem-solving capability at all levels.
• Support CI projects across SQDC: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
• Coordinate activity of improvement teams to eliminate losses.
• Lead and support Cost to Win (CtW) initiatives and track progress.
• Coach BD Excellence concepts and facilitate Kaizen events.
• Support development of zero-loss approaches in critical areas.
• Ensure KPIs are cascaded and monitored across components.
• Utilize data-driven visual-management to drive KPI improvements (e.g., OEE).
