Axpo Group in Madrid seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to independently manage complex, cross-functional programs from setup through successful delivery.

You will lead key workstreams within large transformation and strategy initiatives, support stakeholders in identifying opportunities, and contribute to the ongoing development of the project management organisation. Travel to Baden, Switzerland and other Axpo sites will be required.

Formación

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance, engineering or natural sciences.
• 7+ years in project management and workshop facilitation.
• Experience at a top-tier consulting firm preferred.
• Proven track record delivering complex cross-divisional projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical and structured mindset.
• Proactive, hands-on approach.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
• German language is an advantage.
• Ability to travel flexibly to Baden, Switzerland and other Axpo sites as project needs require.

• Support internal stakeholders in identifying project opportunities and delivering business-critical initiatives
• Contribute to the continuous development of the project management organisation and methodologies
• Strengthen collaboration and networking across the Group, linking Madrid with other Axpo locations
• Drive strategically relevant projects including post-merger integrations, business model transformations and group-wide change programmes

Requirements

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance, engineering or natural sciences
• At least 7 years of experience in project management and workshop facilitation
• Experience preferably at a top-tier consulting firm
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross-divisional projects or leading major project streams
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical and structured mindset
• Proactive, hands-on approach
• Confidence using AI-supported and digital tools
• Business-fluent English, written and spoken, is essential
• German is an advantage
• Ability to travel flexibly to Baden, Switzerland and other international Axpo sites as project needs require
