Axpo Group is seeking an IT Application Owner for HR applications to own operation, upgrades, and integrations, translating business needs into secure, scalable technical solutions.

You will collaborate with IAM, integration, and security teams, manage onboarding, changes, and decommissioning, and ensure governance and audit compliance while helping our HR IT landscape evolve.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment as an IT Application Owner or similar.
• Strong technical affinity with hands-on experience in SaaS applications, integrations, and cloud-based systems.
• Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts (provisioning, SSO, roles, authentication).
• Experience with interfaces, APIs, file-based integrations, and data formats (CSV, XML, JSON).
• Ability to analyze technical issues independently and collaborate with IAM, integration, and infrastructure teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL or equivalent IT service management frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills bridging business and tech audiences.
• Experience in IT HR landscapes is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the IT Application Owner for HR applications: ensure smooth operation, administration and continuous optimization.
• Own evaluation, upgrade and release planning with a focus on integrations, identity management, and technical quality.
• Own SaaS and on-premise application lifecycle activities such as onboarding, changes, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Translate business requirements into technical documentation, including interfaces, data flows and dependencies with surrounding systems.
• Design, document, and maintain application interfaces (e.g. file-based, API, REST, SCIM).
• Secure application synchronization with IAM, integration, and data analytics teams.
• Collaborate with IAM teams on user provisioning, role/access concepts, authentication, authorization, and SAML/OIDC SSO.
• Review, adjust, and validate configuration and data files for system uploads and integrations.
• Coordinate incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement with vendors and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and audit requirements.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis; coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers for 3rd-level support.

What you will do:

• Act as the IT Application Owner for HR applications: ensure smooth operation, administration and continuous optimization.
• Take full ownership of application evaluation, upgrade and release planning with a strong focus on integrations, identity management, and technical quality.
• Own SaaS and on-premise application lifecycle activities such as onboarding, changes, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Analyze and implement business requirements by translating them into technical documentation, including interfaces, data flows, and dependencies with surrounding systems.
• Design, document, and maintain application interfaces (e.g. file-based, API, REST, SCIM).
• Secure application synchronization with IAM, integration, and data analytics teams.
• Collaborate with IAM teams on user provisioning, role/access concepts, authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SAML/OIDC).

What you bring & who you are:

• 4+ years of experience as an IT Application Owner, or similar role in an enterprise IT environment.
• Strong technical affinity with hands-on experience in SaaS applications, integrations, and cloud-based systems.
• Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts (user lifecycle, provisioning, SSO, roles, authentication).
• Experience working with interfaces, APIs, file-based integrations, and basic data formats (e.g. CSV, XML, JSON).
• Ability to analyze technical issues independently and collaborate effectively with IAM, integration, and infrastructure teams.
• Familiarity with IT service management and governance frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, bridging business and technical audiences.
• Experience in IT HR landscapes is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

What this role is not:

• This role is not a Product Owner: it requires hands-on technical understanding of applications, integrations, and identity management topics.
• This role is not a software developer: while technical analysis and configuration understanding are required, coding and software development are not the primary responsibilities.
• This role is not a first-level support or helpdesk function: operational support is coordinated, not executed on a day-to-day basis.
• This role is not isolated from IAM or platform teams: close collaboration with Identity & Access Management, integration, developers, and security teams is an integral part of the position.
