Axpo Group in Madrid seeks an experienced IT Applications Manager to connect business needs with smart IT architecture in a collaborative, international environment. You will manage the full lifecycle of business applications supporting electricity generation and distribution.

You will ensure stable, secure, and compliant operations, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams while leading incident, problem, and change management.

Formación

• Experience in application management, IT operations, or software engineering.
• Strong understanding of architectures including cloud, on-prem, integrations, and databases.
• Knowledge of IT service management processes such as ITIL.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders.
• Ideally experience in the energy sector.

What you bring & who you are:

• Experience in application management, IT operations, or software engineering

• Strong understanding of application architectures, including cloud, on-premises systems, integrations, and databases

• Knowledge of IT service management processes such as ITIL

• Analytical and solution-oriented way of working with strong communication skills

• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders effectively

• Ideally, experience in the energy sector

• Being fluent in English is mandatory (C1 minimum) ; speaking Spanish or Germany is a plus.
