Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Mallorca is seeking an Events Operations Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of all Food & Beverage events, group dining experiences, and banquet operations. You will serve as the primary liaison among Sales, F&B, Culinary, and other departments to ensure flawless event delivery and extraordinary guest experiences.

The role requires 3–5 years in banqueting or events, with a degree in Hospitality Management and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality Management or similar field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Banqueting Operations, Conference & Events, or F&B management.
• Luxury hospitality experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all Food & Beverage events, banquets and group dining experiences, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery.
• Act as the main liaison between Sales, Food & Beverage, Culinary and other operational departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment of event requirements.
• Manage all administrative aspects of events, including BEOs, function sheets, forecasts, reports and operational documentation.
• Plan event logistics, staffing requirements, room setups, timelines and operational resources according to business needs.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and ensure all teams are fully informed of event details, VIP requirements and guest expectations.
• Monitor event execution, anticipating operational challenges and implementing solutions to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Support revenue optimization through effective planning, upselling opportunities and cost control while achieving departmental objectives.
