Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is seeking an Events Operations Manager to lead planning, coordination and execution of all Food & Beverage events, group dining and banqueting, delivering the highest service standards.

Based at the Mallorca property, you will work closely with Sales, F&B, Culinary and operations, manage BEOs and timelines, supervise staffing and room setups, and drive guest satisfaction and revenue through proactive event management.

Formación

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in Banqueting Operations, Conference & Events, or Food & Beverage management.
• Luxury hospitality experience is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee all Food & Beverage events, banquets and group dining experiences, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery.
• Act as the main liaison between Sales, Food & Beverage, Culinary and other operational departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment of event requirements.
• Manage all administrative aspects of events, including BEOs, function sheets, forecasts, reports and operational documentation.
• Plan event logistics, staffing requirements, room setups, timelines and operational resources according to business needs.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and ensure all teams are fully informed of event details, VIP requirements and guest expectations.
• Monitor event execution, anticipating operational challenges and implementing solutions to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Support revenue optimization through effective planning, upselling opportunities and cost control while achieving departmental objectives.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, the Events Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all Food & Beverage events, group dining experiences and banqueting operations, ensuring seamless delivery of events while maintaining the highest service standards.

As Events Operations Manager, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• Coordinate and oversee all Food & Beverage events, banquets and group dining experiences, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery.

• Act as the main liaison between Sales, Food & Beverage, Culinary and other operational departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment of event requirements.

• Manage all administrative aspects of events, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), function sheets, forecasts, reports and operational documentation.

• Plan event logistics, staffing requirements, room setups, timelines and operational resources according to business needs.

• Conduct pre-event briefings and ensure all teams are fully informed of event details, VIP requirements and guest expectations.

• Monitor event execution, anticipating operational challenges and implementing solutions to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.

• Support revenue optimization through effective planning, upselling opportunities and cost control while achieving departmental objectives.

As Events Operations Manager, weexpect from you:

Experience and education

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management or similar.

• At least Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Banqueting Operations, Conference & Events, or Food & Beverage management.

• Luxury hospitality experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Excellent understanding of banquet and event operations.

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing business demands.

• Ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).

• Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are an advantage.
