Job summary

Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking an Event Rooms Coordinator to manage planning and coordination of accommodation for groups and events, serving as the main contact for room-related requirements and ensuring delivery to Hyatt standards.

This is an operational full-time role supported by Reservations, Front Office, Housekeeping, Revenue, Finance, Sales, and Events teams to deliver seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in group reservations or rooms coordination is highly preferred.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or a high-service environment is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for clients from group confirmation through post-stay follow-up.
• Manage group room blocks, rooming lists, reservations, and extensions throughout planning.
• Coordinate VIP guests, upgrades, amenities, and special accommodation requests.
• Monitor room block pickup and coordinate with Reservations, Front Office, and Events teams.
• Ensure room rates, billing instructions, and contractual conditions are reflected in systems.
• Support revenue optimization through upgrades and extra room-nights when appropriate.
• Handle last-minute changes with professionalism and a solutions-driven mindset.
• Oversee arrivals and departures, including check-in procedures and luggage arrangements.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless accommodation operations.
• Conduct post-stay follow-up on billing and guest feedback.
