Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Mallorca is seeking a Luggage & Door Supervisor to join our Concierge team. Based at our luxury resort, you will coordinate the Bell Team, greet guests on arrival and departure, and ensure luggage handling meets the highest standards.

You will supervise porters, brief on occupancy and VIP arrivals, manage entrance traffic, and work closely with Concierge, Reception, and Security to deliver a seamless luxury experience from arrival to departure.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in the same role is preferred.
• Effective communication in English and Spanish.
• Well-groomed appearance and adherence to grooming standards.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, motivate, and guide the Luggage Porters and Door team daily.
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate occupancy, VIP arrivals, group movements, and special requests.
• Oversee secure handling, tagging, storage, and delivery of luggage per security standards.
• Manage guest traffic flow at hotel entrances, coordinating vehicles and transport.
• Support inventory control of luggage carts, tags, umbrellas, and entrance equipment.
• Assist management with team performance reviews and training documentation.
• Monitor entrance areas to ensure they remain clear and safe.
• Maintain the presentation of the front of house to ensure a luxury arrival and departure experience.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Luggage & Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the Bell Team, greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure, handling their luggage and any belongings with efficiency and care.

As Luggage & Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise, motivate, and guide the Luggage Porters and Door team daily
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate occupancy, VIP arrivals, group movements, and special requests
• Oversee and execute secure handling, accurate tagging, storage, and delivery of guest luggage in adherence to security standards.
• Manage guest traffic flow at hotel entrances, coordinating vehicles, taxis, and private transport
• Support inventory control of luggage carts, tags, umbrellas, and entrance equipment
• Assist management with team performance reviews and training documentation
• Monitor the hotel entrance and luggage areas, ensuring they remain clear and safe.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas.
• Maintain the presentation of the front of house area to ensure a luxury experience from arrival to departure.
• Assist with transportation arrangements, including taxis, airport transfers and valet services.
• Coordinate closely with Concierge, Reception, Bell Desk, Housekeeping, and Security teams
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Chief Concierge.

As Luggage & Door Supervisor, we expect from you:

• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in the same role is preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
• Well-groomed appearance, adhering to the hotel's grooming standards.
