Welocalize is seeking a Linguistic QA Tester in Spain to proofread and edit localized content for the target language, ensuring grammar, punctuation, and consistency. You may also translate from English when needed and verify UI behavior against test cases.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, native-level fluency in the target language, strong English skills, and MS Office familiarity. Reports to Vendor Project Manager in Staffing/Quality Management and onsite work is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work onsite or at client location.
• Native-level fluency in required language(s).
• Up-to-date awareness of technical language in the target language.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken).
• Experience with MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic PC hardware knowledge.
• Familiarity with smartphones (iPhone or Android).

Responsabilidades

• Write and report bugs and errors using internal database system.
• Prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain native language expertise and cultural awareness.
• Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Stay organized with attention to detail and quality.
• QA products by following testing instructions and test cases.
• Report defects using client bug-tracking tools.
• Evaluate translations in context of software and apps.
• Research linguistic issues and resolve questions.
• Follow project-specific quality standards and glossaries.
• Troubleshoot problems and escalate testing issues.
• Complete tasks in a timely, quality manner.
