Welocalize in Málaga, Spain is seeking a Linguistic QA Tester to proofread and edit content already localized into the native language, catch errors in grammar, punctuation, and style, and sometimes translate from English to the target language. You will also check UIs for functional issues and report defects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, native-language fluency, strong English, and familiarity with MS Office; prior localization/QA experience preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Native-level or bilingual fluency in the required language(s).
• Strong English skills, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with bug tracking and QA testing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Write and report bugs using internal tracking systems.
• Prioritize tasks and issues efficiently.
• Proofread and edit localized content for grammar, punctuation and style.
• Check UI content for functional issues.
• Evaluate translations in context of software and documentation.
• Follow client style guides and glossaries.
