Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to oversee wind asset performance, diagnostics, and remote support across commissioning and service phases.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to analyze data, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement while commuting to on-call periods on weekends and holidays where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical, communication and calm, structured approach under pressure
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility

Responsibilities

• Monitor wind asset performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to reporting of technical findings and recommendations
• Support process improvements and operational optimization
• Assist with grid outage situations prioritising safety and compliance
• Work rotating weekday shifts with occasional on-call during weekends/public holidays
