GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to oversee offshore wind assets, monitor performance, and guide remote diagnostics and field support across commissioning and service phases.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, ensuring safe, reliable turbine operations and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication under pressure.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
