GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona to oversee offshore wind assets from a centralized hub. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and lead collaboration with site and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires hands-on wind energy experience, ability to read schematics, and strong data-driven problem-solving. You may travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona within EU eligibility.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and EU work eligibility; willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call during weekends/public holidays.
