Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead Installation Engineer to drive the technical development of installation tooling and processes for onshore wind turbines from concept to field validation.

The role oversees tooling for turbine subsystems, coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver safe, efficient installation solutions. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end tool development, perform safety-focused design reviews, and support on-site validations and training for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline from an accredited College or University (Mechanical preferred).
• Familiarity with CAD and Finite Element Analysis is desirable.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 15% of the time when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling development projects through the NPI process from concept through industrialization, including design, prototyping, development, validation, and documentation of installation tooling.
• Engage with suppliers to finalize design and manufacture the proposed technology.
• Support on-site validations and training of installation leaders and technicians.
