Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer to design, implement, and validate advanced control features for wind turbines. You will balance performance, mechanical load reduction, grid compliance, and fleet availability across a global installed base.

You will model in simulation, validate on the GE MarkVIe PLC, and investigate fleet issues requiring deep controls knowledge and systematic analysis. Remote collaboration will be essential across teams.

Qualifications

• <1>Degree in Engineering or Science; formal qualification advantageous.
• <2>Significant wind turbine controls engineering experience.
• <3>Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate turbine control algorithms balancing performance and reliability.
• Investigate and resolve fleet controls issues across installed turbines.
• Contribute across the full product lifecycle from requirements through validation and lifecycle support.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders.
