GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own the full design lifecycle for Machine Head Driveline components across the wind turbine fleet. You will lead design, testing, and validation, and collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and field teams to ensure reliable, cost-efficient products.

You will work with suppliers and teams globally, applying GD&T and advanced materials. English communication and a strong mechanical background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Extensive mechanical analysis and design experience in industry.
• Working knowledge of drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (Unigraphics / Siemens NX).
• Experience leading global projects across geographies.
• Strong communication, PM and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of rotor brakes, locks, and couplings for wind turbines; own specs and reliability verification.
• Ensure quality of drawings, BoMs, specs; drive lessons learned and standardization.
• Design validation plans and test programs to prove function and reliability.
• Resolve field issues via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify cost and technology improvements for drivetrain components.
