Vertiv Spain is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain. You will be responsible for installation, service and repair of company products at customer sites, building strong relationships with customers, sales teams and distributors.

In this role you will manage spare parts stock, follow environmental guidelines, and perform field service tasks with a focus on safety, accuracy and timely reporting. Occasional weekend and after-hours work may be required.

Formación

• Air conditioning or electrical engineering high school diploma.
• Native in the local language; Good English.
• Previous experience in technical service area working with air conditioning equipment.
• Computer literate; well organized and able to work under pressure; very flexible work-hours.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to all assigned service calls while on duty.
• Read, understand and comply with the Field Procedure Manual.
• Perform work safely in accordance with safety policy and local regulations.
• Keep dispatching center informed of schedule and status of open jobs.
• Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using parts procedures.
• Submit paperwork timely and accurately; debrief after Wireless Field Service.

We are looking for a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain!

As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of company products at customer premises. You will maintain strong working relationships with customers, sales teams, distributors, and other stakeholders within your assigned area.

You will manage the assigned spare parts VAN stock, ensuring proper availability and control. All technical interventions must be carried out in full compliance with the environmental guidelines established by Vertiv Spain, as well as any specific requirements applicable at customer facilities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond, in a professional manner, to all assigned service calls while on duty
• Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual
• Perform all work in a safe manner, and in accordance with established company safety policy and local regulations
• Keep dispatching center informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs
• Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures
• Submit periodically paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner and, in case of Wireless Field Service, debrief the performed job at the Customer’s premises
• Maintain the accuracy of the customer and installed base database by reporting errors
• Report and promote sales or service leads to the proper department.
• Actively seek for tech. leads and service business opportunities.
• Being a reference point for key customers in case of emergency and troubleshooting
• Work closely with department supervisor to assist with day to day operational duties
  • Ensure availability to work during week-end and night in compliance with local labor laws
  • Follow and respect, in all its technical interventions, the environmental guidelines established by Vertiv Spain, and those that are specific to the client's facilities where the intervention is carried out
  • To attend to the environmental trainings that are locally required.
  • To know and to comply with the waste producer’s requirements established by the current legislation, concerning the handling, transfer and storage of the wastes until their delivery to an authorized waste management company.
  • To know and to comply with the procedures, instructions and action plans established by Vertiv Spain

• School Background
  • Air Conditioning or Electrical engineering high school diploma
• Language skills
  • Native in the local language; Good English
• Technical / Functional skills
  • Previous experience in technical service area working in a service or test environment of Air conditioning equipment
  • Computer Literate
  • Well organized and able to work under pressure
  • Very Flexible Work-Hours

Working condition

• A significant amount of after hours and weekend work, frequently scheduled with little notice
• Travel
