The role involves installation, servicing, and repair of products at customer locations, requiring a strong technical background in Air Conditioning or Electrical engineering. You will need to maintain customer relationships and respond to service calls, often with short notice, while working flexible hours, including weekends and nights. Ideal candidates are good in English and computer literate.

Formación

• Native in the local language; good command of English.
• Previous experience in technical service area with Air conditioning equipment.
• Able to handle significant after-hours and weekend work.

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of company products at customer premises. You will maintain strong working relationships with customers, sales teams, distributors, and other stakeholders within your assigned area.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond, in a professional manner, to all assigned service calls while on duty
• Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual
• Perform all work in a safe manner, and in accordance with established company safety policy and local regulations
• Keep dispatching center informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs
• Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures
• Submit periodically paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner and, in case of Wireless Field Service, debrief the performed job at the Customer’s premises
• Maintain the accuracy of the customer and installed base database by reporting errors
• Report and promote sales or service leads to the proper department
• Actively seek for tech. leads and service business opportunities
• Being a reference point for key customers in case of emergency and troubleshooting
• Work closely with department supervisor to assist with day to day operational duties
• Ensure availability to work during week-end and night in compliance with local labor laws
• Follow and respect, in all its technical interventions, the environmental guidelines established by Vertiv Spain, and those that are specific to the client's facilities where the intervention is carried out
• Attend the environmental trainings that are locally required
• Know and comply with the waste producer’s requirements established by the current legislation, concerning the handling, transfer and storage of wastes until their delivery to an authorized waste management company
• Know and comply with the procedures, instructions and action plans established by Vertiv Spain

Key Dimensions

• Handling about 40 orders per month
