Job summary

Nextpower is seeking an IT Desktop Engineer, Europe based in Madrid to support day-to-day IT operations for the Europe team. You will install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and services while acting as a trusted IT partner to local offices and global teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on support, a builder mindset, and the ability to balance immediate requests with longer-term improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT desktop support experience required.
• Proficient with Windows, Office 365, networking and AD.
• Experience scripting or programming and familiarity with automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, Office 365, Box.com and Okta.
• Deploy laptops/desktops in a domain environment and manage inventory.
• Provide day-to-day desktop support to executives and assistants.
• Respond to and close tickets, ensuring proper resolution and processes are followed.
