DayOne in Madrid is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to ensure smooth operation of IT systems, support end-users, and maintain infrastructure reliability across the organization. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, support on-site and remote users, manage inventory, and document solutions to strengthen the knowledge base.

• Diploma or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Windows-based support or helpdesk environment.
• Hands-on experience with service desk operations and technical helpdesk support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, ADSL, VPN).
• Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first- and second-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Respond promptly to service desk requests and ensure effective resolution of all IT incidents.
• Support and troubleshoot issues for both on-site and remote users, including branch locations.
• Maintain and update IT inventory, including hardware, software, and system assets.
• Log, track, and close support tickets accurately, ensuring proper documentation and timely follow-up.
• Document resolutions, case studies, and standard operating procedures to enhance the organization’s knowledge base.
• Perform regular system health checks, equipment inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all systems are compliant with security policies, including keeping antivirus and other security software up to date.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and IT processes.
• Participate in after-hours on-call support when required.
• Carry out additional IT-related duties as assigned.
