Job summary

Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG Madrid is seeking an IT Application Manager to own the operational and technical management of Password Manager Pro and a portfolio of standard applications. You will ensure the application stability, security, performance, maintenance and compliance with internal standards in coordination with the software provider and stakeholders.

You will manage incidents, vulnerabilities, changes, upgrades and releases and coordinate projects and initiatives for the applications

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Application Management, Application Support, or IT Operations, ideally in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Position

We are currently seeking to hire, with immediate effect, an IT Application Manager (m/f/d) for our CIO/COO business area based in Madrid.

Your tasks

As an IT Application Owner, you are responsible for the operational and technical management of Password Manager Pro and a portfolio of additional standard applications.

You ensure the application stability, security, performance, maintenance and compliance with internal standards in coordination with the software provider and relevant stakeholders.

You manage incidents, vulnerabilities, changes, upgrades and releases in coordination with the software providers and relevant stakeholders.

You coordinate projects and participate actively in new initiatives regarding the applications you are responsible for.

You drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities and implementing sustainable solutions.

How to convince us

Proven experience in Application Management, Application Support, or IT Operations, ideally in the financial services industry.

Proven experience with databases (Oracle, MSSQL), SQL, Windows/Linux Server and role-based access control concepts.

Experience with IT Processes (e.g. ITIL).

Experience with Password Manager Pro or comparable Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions is a plus.

Very good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with fluent English and the ability to work independently in an international environment.
