Job summary

Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (pbb) seeks a Loan Administrator / Credit Operations Specialist in Madrid. You will actively manage loan, property, and collateral data, support disbursements and financing structures, and handle loan accounting transactions within a team-oriented Loan Management environment.

Requirements include a university degree in a relevant field, experience in credit risk, real estate markets, and strong SAP/SUMMIT skills.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in business administration, economics, real estate management, or comparable knowledge.
• Experience in credit risk management, preferably real estate, corporate/structured finance, or investment banking.
• Basic knowledge of real estate markets and complex financial structures.
• Proficiency in SAP with CML, CMS, BCA, BP and FI modules; SUMMIT knowledge is a plus.
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills; fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Active management of loan, property, and collateral data in the relevant systems.
• Support with loan disbursements, contract amendments, repayments, and financing structures.
• Create and process property developer financing and loan accounting transactions.
• Prepare customer correspondence and collateral/land register documents.
• Collaborate with other departments within Loan Management and coordinate back office activities.
• Participate in process and interface optimisation and regulatory tasks.
• Collaborate on projects across teams.

For our Loan Management business area based in Madrid, we are currently seeking to hire, with immediate effect, a Loan Administrator (m/f/d) / Credit Operations Specialist (m/f/d).

Your tasks

• Active management of loan, property, and collateral data in the relevant systems
• Support with loan disbursements, contract amendments, repayments, and implementation of financing structures in the relevant systems
• Creation and ongoing processing of property developer and developer financing as well as loan accounting transactions
• Preparation of customer correspondence as well as collateral and land register documents
• Close cooperation with other departments as a member of the Loan Management team to coordinate all back office activities in the Portfolio Management process
• Participation in process and interface optimisation as well as regulatory tasks
• Collaboration on projects

How to convince us

• Completed university degree in business administration, economics, real estate management, or comparable knowledge acquired through practical experience (e.g., banking apprenticeship, banking specialist)
• Initial experience in credit risk management, preferably in the areas of real estate, corporate finance, structured finance, or investment banking
• Basic knowledge of the relevant real estate markets
• Basic knowledge of complex financial structures
• Very good knowledge of relevant IT applications such as SAP with the CML, CMS, BCA, BP, and FI modules, as well as SUMMIT
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications Word and Excel
• Fluent Spanish and English skills; additional skills in an Eastern European language are an advantage
