Job summary

Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (pbb) in Madrid is seeking an IT Application Manager to own the operational and technical management of Password Manager Pro and a portfolio of standard applications. You ensure application stability, security, performance, maintenance and compliance with internal standards in coordination with the software provider and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Application Management, Application Support, or IT Operations.
• Experience with databases (Oracle, MSSQL), SQL, Windows/Linux Server and RBAC concepts.
• Experience with IT Processes (e.g. ITIL).
• Experience with Password Manager Pro or PAM solutions is a plus.
• Fluent English and ability to work independently in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• As IT Application Owner, responsible for operational and technical management of Password Manager Pro and a portfolio of additional standard applications.
• Ensure application stability, security, performance, maintenance and compliance with internal standards with providers and stakeholders.
• Manage incidents, vulnerabilities, changes, upgrades and releases with providers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate projects and participate in new initiatives regarding the applications you are responsible for.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities and implementing sustainable solutions.

IT Application Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• As an IT Application Owner, you are responsible for the operational and technical management of Password Manager Pro and a portfolio of additional standard applications
• You ensure the application stability, security, performance, maintenance and compliance with internal standards in coordination with the software provider and relevant stakeholders
• You manage incidents, vulnerabilities, changes, upgrades and releases in coordination with the software providers and relevant stakeholders
• You coordinate projects and participate actively in new initiatives regarding the applications you are responsible for
• You drive continuous improvement by identifying optimization opportunities and implementing sustainable solutions

How to convince us

• Proven experience in Application Management, Application Support, or IT Operations, ideally in the financial services industry
• Proven experience with databases (Oracle, MSSQL), SQL, Windows/Linux Server and role-based access control concepts
• Experience with IT Processes (e.g. ITIL)
• Experience with Password Manager Pro or comparable Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions is a plus
• Very good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with fluent English and the ability to work independently in an international environment
