GMV in Madrid is offering an internship for electrical engineering students to develop cryptography applied to GNSS. You will work on secure hardware implementations, including FPGA/SoC contexts, and learn about post-quantum cryptography.

The program provides flexible scheduling to fit studies, with potential continuation after internship, financial support for studies, and team activities in a diverse environment.

Formación

• Electrical Engineering or related field student with knowledge in electronics, hardware, microchips and PCB design.
• Hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog knowledge.
• Processors and circuit boards understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Design, programming, and secure hardware implementation of cryptographic algorithms and systems (FPGA/SoC/ASIC).
• Certification of cybersecurity products based on international standards (e.g., CC, NIST).
• Protection of cryptographic solutions against side-channel and other attacks.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will work with cryptography applied to Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Secure implementation of modern and post-quantum cryptographic systems.

Your duties will include:

• Design, programming, and secure implementation of cryptographic algorithms and systems in hardware (FPGA, ASIC, SoC, etc.).
• Certification of cybersecurity products based on international standards (Common Criteria, NIST). - Design and implementation of crypto-agile systems.
• Protection of cryptographic solutions against invasive and non-invasive attacks, particularly side-channel attacks.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are seeking students majoring in electrical engineering or a related field, with knowledge in the areas of electronics, hardware, microchips, circuit boards, processors, hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog, and PCB design.
