GMV Spain in Madrid invites Bachelor’s or Master’s degree students to join its Defence and Security team to work on navigation, guidance and positioning projects.

You will study and develop alternative map-correlation algorithms for visual navigation and contribute to improving robustness under varied camera orientations and distortions in real scenarios.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree students in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related fields.
• Interest in visual navigation, computer vision and algorithm development.
• Knowledge of image processing, linear algebra, projective geometry and statistics.
• Experience or interest in programming with Python and/or C++.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will study and develop alternative map-correlation algorithms for visual navigation, aiming to improve their robustness under different camera orientations and geometric distortions in operational scenarios.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree students in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or related fields, with an interest in visual navigation, computer vision and algorithm development.

We will also value knowledge of image processing, linear algebra, projective geometry and statistics, as well as experience or an interest in programming with Python and/or C++.
