GMV seeks electrical engineering students for an internship in the space sector. You will work on cryptography applied to GNSS, focusing on secure hardware implementations (FPGA/SoC) and crypto‑agile systems.

Training and mentorship are provided as you gain hands-on experience in cryptographic design and defense against side-channel attacks. You will join a diverse team, with opportunities to continue with GMV after the internship and flexible scheduling to fit your studies.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of electronics, hardware, microchips and PCB design.
• Experience with hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog.

Responsabilidades

• Design, programming, and secure implementation of cryptographic algorithms and systems in hardware (FPGA, ASIC, SoC, etc.).
• Certification of cybersecurity products based on international standards (Common Criteria, NIST).

What challenge will you be taking on?

As part of our team, you will work with cryptography applied to Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Secure implementation of modern and post-quantum cryptographic systems.

Your duties will include:

• Design, programming, and secure implementation of cryptographic algorithms and systems in hardware (FPGA, ASIC, SoC, etc.).
• Certification of cybersecurity products based on international standards (Common Criteria, NIST). - Design and implementation of crypto‑agile systems.
• Protection of cryptographic solutions against invasive and non‑invasive attacks, particularly side‑channel attacks.

What do we need in our team?

For this position, we are seeking students majoring in electrical engineering or a related field, with knowledge in the areas of electronics, hardware, microchips, circuit boards, processors, hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog, and PCB design.
