Sherpas is seeking a backend engineer who can configure integrations for wealth-management platforms, turning bespoke onboarding into standard, self-serve configurations. You will connect custodial data, CRMs, and financial tools, ensuring resilience and accurate reconciliations across systems.

Strong Python and SQL skills, plus experience with APIs, tooling for others, and frontend basics to enable a configuration UI.

Formación

Backend engineer with real integration scars—worked with third-party APIs that are undocumented, inconsistent, rate-limited, or all three.
Thinks about failure modes first: retries, partial data, silent schema changes, reconciliation breaks.
Strong Python and SQL.
You build tooling for others instinctively rather than keeping knowledge in your head.
Experience with custodial feeds, positions, transactions or other financial data.
Experience turning a services-heavy onboarding into a self-serve product.
Frontend skills to enable a configuration UI built by others.

Responsabilidades

Own connectors: custodial data, CRM, financial planning tools—build, maintain, and ensure resilience against external system quirks.
Ensure data reconciliation is accurate since wrong numbers are a regulatory risk.
Turn bespoke onboarding into a standard configuration process over code.
Protect the roadmap by avoiding ad-hoc onboarding work and bottlenecks.
