Sherpas is looking for an Integration Engineer to configure and maintain connectors that onboard new firms efficiently. You will focus on making integration tasks configurable rather than coding bespoke solutions, reducing engineering hours per onboarding.

You will own data reconciliation, handle custodial feeds, and ensure robustness against external system issues, while enabling a scalable onboarding flow for future clients.

Formación

• Backend engineer with real integration scars—worked with undocumented, inconsistent, rate-limited third-party APIs.
• Think about failure modes first: retries, partial data, silent schema changes, reconciliation breaks.
• Strong Python and SQL.
• Build tooling for others so knowledge isn’t sunk in one head.
• Experience with custodial feeds, positions, transactions, or performance data is a plus.
• Experience turning services-heavy onboarding into a self-serve product.
• Frontend skills help, but you enable the configuration UI.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain, and improve connectors (custodial data, CRM, financial planning tools).
• Ensure connectors are resilient to external system misbehavior and data quality issues.
• Help turn bespoke onboarding into standard, configuration-driven processes.
• Protect the product roadmap by preventing onboarding work from breaking or bottlenecking.
