Sherpas in Spain seeks a backend engineer who can turn complex integrations into configuration rather than bespoke code. The role focuses on connectors for custodial data, CRM, and financial planning tools, with emphasis on reliability and automation.

You will work with Python and SQL, handle undocumented or rate-limited APIs, and build tooling so non-engineers can onboard firms via self-serve configuration. Frontend touch is expected to enable a configuration UI.

Formación

• Backend engineer with experience integrating undocumented, inconsistent, or rate-limited third-party APIs.
• Design for failure: retries, partial data, silent schema changes, reconciliation issues.
• Strong Python and SQL.
• Experience turning a services-heavy onboarding into a self-serve product.
• Frontend skills to enable a configurable UI.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain connectors for custodial data, CRM, and financial planning tools.
• Ensure data reconciles and is resilient to upstream changes.
• Turn bespoke onboarding into standard configurations.
• Collaborate on enabling a configuration UI for non-engineers.
• Monitor and reduce onboarding effort per firm.
