Sherpas is seeking a backend engineer to configure connectors for custodial data, CRM, and financial planning tools, transforming bespoke integrations into standard configurations. You will focus on making onboarding faster and more reliable so the eleventh firm takes hours instead of days.

You will work with undocumented, inconsistent, and rate-limited APIs, emphasizing failure modes, data integrity, and tooling to empower non-engineers. Strong Python and SQL skills are required.

• Backend engineer with integration experience across undocumented, inconsistent, rate-limited APIs.
• Prioritize failure modes: retries, partial data, silent schema changes, reconciliation.
• Strong Python and SQL skills and ability to build tooling for others.

Responsabilidades

• Own the connectors: custodial data, CRM, and financial planning tools; build, maintain, and harden them.
• Ensure data reconciles; regulatory accuracy depends on upstream data quality.
• Turn bespoke systems into standard configurations to shorten onboarding.
• Protect the roadmap by preventing onboarding work from falling to ad hoc tasks.
