Job summary

Jobgether seeks an Innovation Lead based in Spain to transform scientific discoveries into commercially viable solutions. You will own an IP and innovation pipeline, bridging research, development, and business opportunities, while leading multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, international environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on project leadership, collaboration with universities and partners, and active involvement in technology transfer and licensing across Europe.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Life Sciences; PhD advantageous but not required.
• Experience translating science into applied services or commercial opportunities.
• Background in innovation management, life sciences business development, technology transfer or licensing.
• Strong project management with ability to lead complex initiatives from concept to execution.
• Solid commercial awareness and strategic judgement; proactive and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across scientific, technical, commercial, and legal teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a defined segment of the Innovation and IP pipeline, from assessment to execution.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize innovation opportunities aligned with strategy and priorities.
• Translate research and external opportunities into value propositions, business cases and roadmaps.
• Lead technology development and applied-service projects to meet milestones and budgets.
• Create action plans with objectives, deliverables, responsibilities and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to advance projects toward market readiness.
• Develop relationships with universities, research institutions, and technology partners.
• Support technology transfer, licensing and IP commercialization.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and next steps for effective execution.
