A leading aerospace technology company in Nigrán is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Mission Control Center team. You will be responsible for developing on-board software systems, defining technical requirements, and participating in validation campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in microcontroller design, embedded Linux, and software development tools such as C/C++. Formación

• Experience in design of on-board software for spacecraft or critical systems.
• Some experience with instrumentation equipment.
• Understanding of DSP algorithms.

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Join our team and build the furure of space technology

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer; with passion in what you do , talented and experienced; to lead our Mission Control Center team and help build the future of space technology.

What you will be doing?

• Definition and identification of technical and user requirements.
• Preparation of software development specifications.
• Analysis and design of on-board software and firmware.
• Participation in validation campaigns for software and complete system (TLYF or E2E).

What do we need in our team

• Hands-on experience with microcontroller design flows
• Eagerness to learn
• Familiarity with embedded Linux systems
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of embedded software development tools : C / C++
• Experience working with GIT repositories and Linux-based operating systems
• Some experience with instrumentation equipment (, power supply, multimeter, oscilloscope)

Valuable knowledge :

• Development of custom embedded Linux systems using Buildroot / Yocto
• Some experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience in the design of on-board software for spacecraft or critical systems
• Knowledge of software development within the FreeRTOS environment
• Understanding of DSP algorithms
