Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Catering Sales Executive for our client, a premier full-service catering company operating in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The role is focused on driving revenue growth, expanding the client base, and managing relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals seeking catering services in Queenstown.

The position combines client-facing activities with site visits and remote work for proposal development and administration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in catering, hospitality, or events.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets and generating new business.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to develop compelling proposals and sales materials.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of catering and event planning processes.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with remote and on-site responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel within Queenstown and the Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for catering services in Queenstown.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Prepare compelling catering proposals, presentations, and contracts.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure profitable business agreements.
• Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to ensure accurate event planning and seamless service delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and client meetings, both remotely and in person, in Queenstown and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's menus, services, and capabilities.
• Track sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices in the Eastern Cape.
