Placements24 is seeking a skilled Banquet & Event Chef de Partie for a reputable catering company in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will prepare dishes for banquets and events, manage a station during service, and ensure top quality and presentation under the guidance of the Sous and Head Chefs.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in busy kitchens, knowledge of HACCP and food safety, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a busy kitchen
• Solid understanding of cooking techniques and culinary principles
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Based in or able to commute to Queenstown, Eastern Cape
• Passion for food and learning and growth in culinary field
• Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
• Relevant culinary qualification is an advantage
