Fuerte Group Hotels in Marbella, Spain, seeks a Human Resources Specialist to drive talent growth across our hotel brands within a hybrid work model. You will design annual training plans, maintain job descriptions, support recruitment evaluations, and ensure payroll accuracy while upholding GDPR.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of HR experience, a relevant university degree, fluent Spanish and English at B2, and readiness to travel regionally.

• At least 3 years of HR Specialist/HR Generalist/People Operations experience.
• University degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, Social Work, or Labor Relations with postgraduate HR studies.
• Strong expertise in candidate assessment platforms and corporate training plan design.
• Fluent Spanish with B2-level English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical rigor, discretion, and proactive problem-solving.

To support our Corporate Human Resources Department, we are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist / HR Generalist (Técnico de RRHH) in Marbella, Spain under a hybrid working model.

In this strategic support role, you will execute HR policies with a primary focus on talent management, professional development programs, job architecture, information security, and labor compliance. Specifically, you will design annual training plans, draft job descriptions, assist in recruitment evaluations, verify payroll incidents, and ensure strict GDPR adherence across all employee records.

Your Mission: Talent Growth, People Operations & Compliance

Your primary goal involves driving corporate people initiatives and operational HR success across our hotel group. To achieve this, you will execute annual training and talent development programs. At the same time, you will keep job profiles structured and employee data completely secure. Therefore, you will identify training needs, advise on candidate assessment methods, prepare official administrative filings, and compile monthly payroll variables. As a result, you will eliminate administrative bottlenecks and protect our company’s reputation for HR excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Talent Development & Training Plans: Draft, propose, and implement annual professional development plans for management and staff. Furthermore, assess departmental training needs to enhance operational performance.
• Competency-Based Recruitment: Advise on specific assessment tests and interview frameworks for selection processes, collaborating directly with the Talent Acquisition Lead.
• Job Architecture & Organization: Develop and maintain updated job descriptions across corporate director positions, middle management, and frontline property roles.
• Payroll Support & Official Filings: Gather and verify monthly payroll incidents to ensure accurate salary processing. In addition, prepare and submit statutory personnel documentation to government bodies on time.
• HR Analytics & Confidentiality: Compile, analyze, and register statistical HR reports. Moreover, ensure strict confidentiality and regulatory data privacy (GDPR) for all employee personal files.
• Labor Standards Compliance: Maintain thorough up-to-date knowledge of Spanish labor law, collective agreements, and occupational health and safety regulations.

Who You Are: The Experienced HR & People Development Specialist

• Proven Foundations: You bring at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or People Operations Officer.
• Educational Background: You hold a University Degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, Social Work, Labor Relations, or equivalent, accompanied by postgraduate studies in Human Resources Management.
• Technical HR Competencies: You possess strong expertise in candidate assessment platforms, corporate training plan design, and competency-based HR management models.
• The Linguist: You display B2-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish.
• Mobility & Independence: You hold a valid driver’s license with your own vehicle and are open to occasional business travel across regional properties.
• Key Competencies: You demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication, analytical rigor, discretion, and proactive problem-solving.
