With nearly seven decades of corporate and hospitality leadership, our group manages diverse brands in both the hospitality and construction sectors. To safeguard legal compliance and foster a healthy labor environment across all work centers, we are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Labor Relations & Employment Law Specialist (Especialista en Relaciones Laborales y Derecho Laboral) to join our team in Marbella, Spain under a remote working model (Teletrabajo/Remoto).

In this specialized legal advisory role, you will act as a key figure in dispute resolution and employment law compliance. Specifically, you will interpret and apply hospitality and construction collective bargaining agreements, provide technical-legal counsel to hotel managers, draft disciplinary files, coordinate occupational risk prevention (PRL), and liaise with works councils and trade unions.

Job Description: Labor Relations & Employment Law Specialist (Fuerte Group)
Your Mission: Legal Security, Labor Peace & Workplace Compliance

Your primary goal involves ensuring strict compliance with Spanish labor legislation and sector-specific collective bargaining agreements. To achieve this, you will resolve workplace conflicts with legal agility. At the same time, you will keep operational leaders supported with sound legal guidance. Therefore, you will draft disciplinary proceedings, advise hotel directors on contractual adjustments, coordinate safety measures with prevention services, and monitor statutory legal changes. As a result, you will mitigate legal liabilities and protect our organization’s reputation for ethical workplace practices.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Conflict Resolution & Mediation: Proactively identify, manage, and resolve labor disputes across regional work centers, serving as a mediator and applying legal criteria to secure practical solutions.
  • Management Legal Advisory: Provide specialized technical and legal counsel to hotel general managers and middle leaders regarding disciplinary actions, contractual modifications, and sanctions.
  • Collective Bargaining Agreements: Ensure the proper interpretation, daily application, and updates of the Hospitality and Construction collective bargaining agreements (Convenios Colectivos de Hostelería y Construcción).
  • Disciplinary & Contractual Drafting: Draft and oversee documentation related to disciplinary proceedings, formal warnings, and contractual amendments with complete autonomy and legal rigor.
  • Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL): Liaise with prevention services and property managers to enforce strict compliance with workplace safety regulations, tracking both corrective and preventive measures.
  • Union Relations & Statutory Monitoring: Maintain dialogue with works councils (comités de empresa) and union representatives. In addition, monitor Spanish labor law reforms to propose internal protocol updates.
  • HR Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Personnel to implement labor policies, providing data analysis on labor conflict rates and compliance benchmarks.
Who You Are: The Expert Labor Law & Relations Specialist
  • Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Relations & Human Resources, or a Law Degree (Grado en Derecho). Specialized postgraduate training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) or collective bargaining in hospitality/construction is highly valued.
  • Proven Foundations: You bring 3 to 4 years of experience in labor relations management or employment legal advisory. Hands-on experience with Spanish labor law and the specific collective agreements of Hospitality and Construction is essential. Experience in company agreements, ERTEs, EREs, or corporate restructurings is an asset.
  • Union & Committee Expertise: You possess demonstrable expertise in dealing with works councils, union delegations, and labor dispute mechanisms.
  • The Linguist: You display B2-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish.
  • Technical & Drafting Skills: You demonstrate advanced computer skills and exceptional legal drafting ability.
  • Mobility & Logistics: You hold a valid driver’s license, own a vehicle, and are available for occasional business travel across regional operational centers.
  • Key Competencies: You demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills, mediation poise, analytical rigor, and high emotional intelligence.

  • Workplace Flexibility: Benefit from a full-time remote working setup (Teletrabajo/Remoto) managed from corporate headquarters in Marbella.
  • Seven Decades of Heritage: Form part of Fuerte Group, a prestigious business group with nearly 70 years of corporate and hospitality leadership in Southern Spain.
