Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella, part of Fuerte Group Hotels, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our technical crew in Marbella, Spain. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance across resort infrastructure, including electrical and plumbing tasks, building fabric repairs, and ensuring safety and environmental standards.

• Fluent Spanish and A2-level English proficiency.
• At least 3 years in Technical Service Officer or Maintenance Assistant, or 5 years in equivalent trades.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing installations, masonry, panel assembly, building telecommunications, and electrical wiring.
• Comfortable with basic office software and facility management applications.

Responsabilidades

• Preventive & corrective maintenance across property systems following directives of Production Lead and Technical Director.
• Electrical & plumbing servicing of installations, building automation lines, and fixtures.
• Carrying out basic construction tasks, panel mounting, and maintenance of telecom infrastructure and building equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of guest rooms, public venues, and back-of-house areas.
• Waste management and environmental compliance per regulations and policies.
• Follow safety protocols and provide general support tasks as required.

To maintain our high standards of facility performance and guest comfort, we are seeking a skilled, proactive Maintenance Technician / Handyman (Oficial de Mantenimiento) to join our technical crew in Marbella, Spain.

In this qualified technical role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across our resort infrastructure under the supervision of the Chief Engineer. Specifically, you will handle electrical repairs, plumbing systems, basic masonry, and panel installations, while ensuring strict adherence to environmental waste separation and occupational safety standards.

Job Description: Maintenance Technician (Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella)

Your Mission: Facility Upkeep & Technical Reliability

Your primary goal involves driving total facility integrity and guest safety across our adults-only resort. To achieve this, you will execute routine repairs and scheduled servicing with high precision. At the same time, you will keep guest areas and technical rooms clean, organized, and compliant with safety codes. Therefore, you will troubleshoot electrical lines, fix plumbing installations, assist with building alterations, and segregate waste properly. As a result, you will eliminate maintenance delays and protect our resort’s reputation for luxury hospitality.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled servicing and immediate repairs on property systems following the directives of the Production Lead and Technical Director.
• Electrical & Plumbing Servicing: Maintain and repair electrical installations, building automation lines, plumbing networks, and related fixtures efficiently.
• Building Fabric & Installation Repairs: Carry out basic construction tasks, panel mounting and fixing, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure and building equipment.
• Facility Cleanliness & Order: Ensure guest rooms, public venues, and technical back‑of‑house areas remain in perfect operating condition, clean, and safe.
• Waste Management & Environmental Compliance: Manage the segregation of urban solid waste and hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations and hotel operational policies.
• Safety Protocols & General Support: Follow occupational risk prevention (PRL) rules and safety protocols, performing general support tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Who You Are: The Skilled Technical Specialist

• Proven Foundations: You bring at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Technical Service Officer or Maintenance Assistant, or 5 years of experience in equivalent trade roles.
• Educational Background: You hold a Vocational Degree (FP or Grado Medio/Superior) in Electricity and Electronics or Building & Civil Works (Electrical & Automated Installations Technician, Construction Finishes Technician, or equivalent).
• Technical Trade Skills: You possess solid knowledge of plumbing installations, masonry work, panel assembly, building telecommunications, and electrical wiring.
• The Linguist: You display A2-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish. Knowledge of additional international languages is considered a valuable asset.
• Computer Literacy: You feel comfortable working with basic office software and facility management applications.
• Key Competencies: You demonstrate practical problem‑solving skills, physical agility, attention to detail, and a responsible approach to workplace safety and environmental protocols.
