Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Guest Services Officer - Groups at Grand Hyatt Barcelona to coordinate group accommodations and deliver exceptional experiences within the Front Office. You will manage rooming lists, service orders, and OS documentation while collaborating with Events, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Front Office teams to ensure flawless arrivals and departures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Services, Groups & Events, Reservations, or hotel operations.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or a similar high-service environment.
• Excellent guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Experience using Opera or Opera Cloud.
• Knowledge of group accommodation management, rooming lists, and service orders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional appearance and Hyatt brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all accommodation-related aspects of group stays from arrival to departure.
• Manage rooming lists and process all related changes accurately and efficiently.
• Act as the main Front Office point of contact for group accommodation operations.
• Ensure smooth group arrivals, departures, check-ins, and check-outs.
• Work closely with Event Planners regarding group updates, special requests, and operational requirements.
• Review and execute Operational Summaries (OS), ensuring all agreed arrangements are properly implemented.
• Coordinate room assignments, room moves, upgrades, amenities, welcome letters, key preparation, early arrivals, and late departures.
• Confirm accommodation upgrades in coordination with the Events team.
