Job summary

Grand Hyatt Barcelona invites motivated hospitality students to join as a Guest Services Trainee. You will learn day-to-day Front Office operations, support check-in/check-out, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury, international setting.

This internship features a rotating schedule, weekend work, and collaboration with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments. English and Spanish proficiency, strong communication, and eagerness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Previous customer service or hospitality internship, or exposure to luxury service environments is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
• Assist with check-in/check-out under Front Office guidance.
• Assist guests with requests and information about hotel/destination.
• Coordinate room assignments and VIP setups.
• Maintain communication with Housekeeping and Concierge.
• Monitor arrivals, departures and guest preferences.
• Assist in handling guest feedback and escalating concerns.
• Support preparation of welcome letters, keys and amenities.
• Participate in daily briefings, training, and meetings.
• Represent Grand Hyatt brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
