Job summary

W Executive is partnering with a leading industrial company to recruit a General Manager who will own the strategic direction, drive profitability, and lead growth across manufacturing operations in Spain. The role demands strong industrial leadership, commercial acumen, and a track record of managing complex production environments.

The successful candidate will oversee P&L, lead a multidisciplinary team across Operations, Sales, Finance, and HR, and drive continuous improvement through Lean

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in the food or packaging industry at General Manager or senior operational leadership level.
• Proven track record of full P&L ownership and delivering sustainable financial results.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, operational excellence, and supply chain management.
• Demonstrated ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
• Solid commercial acumen with experience supporting business development and managing key customer relationships.
• Strong financial literacy including budgeting, CapEx planning, and profitability management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management at both operational and executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Assume strategic leadership and P&L accountability to drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain for operational excellence.
• Lead a multidisciplinary management team across Operations, Sales, Finance, and HR and foster a high-performance culture.
