Job summary

Evotym is seeking a Risk Manager to strengthen financial and operational risk management across its international payments business. The role focuses on safeguarding funds, managing foreign exchange exposure, assessing counterparty resilience, and supporting compliance across Europe and Asia.

You will monitor balances with banks and PSPs, manage FX risk, assess counterparties, and adapt policies to PSD2/PSD3 and Asian regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of risk management experience in fintech, EMI, payment institution or bank with cross-border acquiring.
• Knowledge of card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay) and cross-border clearing.
• Familiarity with PSD2/PSD3 and Asian risk standards; strong regulatory awareness.
• Proficient Excel and SQL; AI tools are a plus.
• Upper-intermediate/advanced English; fluent Russian.

Responsibilities

• Monitor balances with banks, PSPs and other providers.
• Manage FX risk across multi-currency settlements Europe–Asia.
• Assess counterparty financial resilience, including banks and merchants.
• Adapt risk policies to PSD2/PSD3 and Asian regulators' expectations.
• Prepare reports on losses and resilience for senior management.
