Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Risk Portfolio Manager based in Europe to oversee credit portfolio performance and strengthen risk management in a fast-growing fintech environment.

You will own portfolio monitoring, underwriting for high-value merchant facilities, and profitability analysis using SQL and Python to guide strategic decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and automation of KPI monitoring are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in credit risk, lending, or portfolio management with hands-on exposure to credit products.
• Experience in fintech or financial services with lending or credit activity.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for extracting and analyzing large data sets.
• Ability to translate quantitative findings into practical business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit portfolio performance across vintages, losses, originations and NPLs.
• Underwrite high-value merchant facilities starting at USD 100,000–200,000 and above.
• Define and track risk metrics for losses, yield, profitability and credit quality.
• Conduct hands-on data analysis to uncover trends and anomalies.
• Apply statistical reasoning to evaluate portfolio performance for risk decisions.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and align portfolio decisions with business goals.
• Communicate insights through clear reports and presentations.
• Automate portfolio monitoring and key indicators for efficiency.
