Job summary

DFDS in Spain is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our multinational team, providing first- and second-line support for PCs, software, and telephony systems in a dynamic maritime environment. The role requires at least 2 years in IT support, strong English, and knowledge of Microsoft, DNS, Active Directory, Citrix, and LAN patching; on-site with occasional travel to vessels.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in IT Support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, DNS, Active Directory, and CITRIX.
• Experience with LAN patching and general IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line IT support for PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Log support calls and document outcomes to aid resolution.
• Redirect or escalate requests to the appropriate IT member.
• Deploy and re-deploy PCs and peripherals; install OS and software to standards.
• Maintain Service Desk systems and assist in documentation and procedures.
• Attend sites and vessels to provide IT support as required; on-call for Severity 1 incidents.
