Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer to keep our IT systems running smoothly on-site across Spain. You will troubleshoot issues, support end-user devices, and help implement network projects for new buildings, while collaborating with remote teams.

You’ll train and mentor IT technicians and contribute to designing infrastructure for site launches, ensuring operational sites run efficiently and securely in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree
• Experience troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of issues
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Operating System support including in-depth understanding of one or both OSs, configuring, managing or troubleshooting systems at scale
• Experience with IP networking fundamentals and TCP/IP, UDP, DNS & DHCP
• Experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery
• Valid EU driver's license
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (C1 level) and English (B2 level), verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Support end-user equipment and your building's IT infrastructure
• Help with key network projects, like the IT setup of new Amazon buildings
• Suggest new processes that improve the way Amazon uses IT in its operational sites
• Train and mentor IT technicians
