Job summary

MET Group in Madrid is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR administration, payroll coordination, and employee relations for the local office and as liaison with the international HR team. Reporting to the Finance & Human Resources Director, the role is highly operational with autonomy to manage core HR processes, contracts, onboarding, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, labor relations, business administration, or law.
• Proven experience in HR administration, payroll, or employee relations.
• Experience with external payroll providers or HR service providers.
• Experience in international or multinational environments.
• Desirable experience with HRIS.
• Fluent English in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Payroll and personnel administration including salary components and deductions.
• Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and contract-related tasks.
• Maintain HR records and monitor leaves and attendance.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and labor advisors.
• Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance.
• Act as local HR liaison to the international corporate HR team.
