Job summary

Zoomo Madrid runs as our European HR hub, handling payroll inputs, onboarding, visas and exits across seven markets. You’ll work with the CEO, country leads and payroll partners, building scalable processes that support our growth and ensure smooth operations from day one.

This role requires 2+ years in HR with hands-on ownership of multiple functions, fluent English, and comfort with international travel. If you enjoy turning requirements into repeatable workflows, you’ll thrive here.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in HR, with hands-on ownership of at least two of recruitment, onboarding, payroll or time & attendance.
• Must be fluent in English, written and spoken, for work with overseas employees and partners.
• Excellent accuracy on repetitive, high-stakes work – payroll inputs, attendance, contracts.
• Strong prioritisation across competing market requests, and comfortable with international travel.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment support and interviews: coordinate interviews across seven time zones, keep our ATS clean, and ensure offers and contracts reach candidates promptly.
• Onboarding and offboarding: get new Zoomers paid, equipped, cleared and provisioned before day one, and close exits in the same week with assets returned and final pay correct.
• Payroll groundwork and time & attendance: run monthly payroll inputs and the shift timesheets behind them, ensuring accurate payments.
• Assets, accounts and employee support: track laptops, tools, PPE and e-bikes, maintain access matrices, and answer employee questions.
• Work authorization and compliance: track visas and permits to keep contracts and data compliant in every market we operate in.
• Process and policy support: maintain runbooks, templates and HR wiki across seven markets, supporting HQ in policy rollouts.
