Job summary

Quint in Barcelona is seeking a Director of Operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences at scale across 25+ events annually, from 200 to 12,000 guests.

You will lead a team of 2+ direct reports and 17+ indirect reports, overseeing day-to-day operations, budgeting, and cross-department collaboration to optimize the guest journey and event delivery. You will work with vendors and partners to ensure strategic alignment and compliance, sustaining margins and growth targets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ progressive experience in event planning and management.
• Significant live/sporting events experience preferred.
• 6+ years’ experience leading teams.
• Direct experience owning and managing budgets of at least 70M USD combined or 8M USD singular.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Excel, CRM software, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and on-site delivery for 25+ events annually, guest counts 200–12,000.
• Fulfillment, transportation, hotels, hospitality, experiences, safety, and on-site plan.
• Develop opportunities to improve guest journey and efficiency.
• Lead cross-department collaboration and external partners.
• Drive strategic initiatives for global alignment and progression.
