Job summary

Refinery89, a Dutch AdTech company based in Madrid, is seeking a Junior Business Development Representative who speaks German to kickstart an international sales career. You will help introduce Refinery89 to new publishers across the German-speaking market and contribute to growing our presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from Madrid.

Recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• German fluency at C1/C2 or native level.
• Strong English communication for international outreach.
• Interest in sales and business development.
• Proactive, curious and results-driven mindset.
• Good organization to manage multiple conversations.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential publishing partners across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Reach out to prospects via LinkedIn, email, phone and other channels.
• Build relationships and understand publisher needs.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline through conversations and negotiations.
• Collaborate with international teams to grow commercial opportunities.
• Learn digital advertising and programmatic tech hands-on.
• Maintain CRM with prospects, conversations and opportunities.
• Work toward personal and team targets while improving prospecting and negotiation skills.
