Job summary

W Executive is partnering with a leading packaging company to recruit a General Manager who will take full responsibility for strategic direction, operational performance, and profitable growth in Spain. The role calls for industrial leadership, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to manage complex manufacturing operations.

The General Manager will drive strategic plans, oversee manufacturing, supply chain, and maintenance, and lead a high-performance leadership team.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in the food or packaging industry, ideally in General Management or senior operational leadership.
• Proven track record of full P&L ownership and delivering sustainable financial results.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, operational excellence, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Assume full P&L accountability, driving revenue growth, profitability, and overall business performance.
• Provide strategic oversight of manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain operations.
• Oversee the commercial strategy, strengthening key customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
• Work with Finance to oversee budgeting, CapEx, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Lead and empower a multidisciplinary management team across Operations, Sales, Finance and HR.
